The Patrol V2 was not designed in a boardroom. It was designed on a FOB, refined through deployments, and tested on 12-hour patrol shifts. Every feature exists because someone needed it in the field.
Which Subsecond belt fits your mission?
Every Patrol V2 ships with the 2" belt platform, a matching 2" black inner belt, a quick-release Cobra buckle, and a leather Subsecond tag sewn into the platform.
Triple-stitched from premium-grade, Berry Amendment compliant materials. Made in America, out of American materials, by Americans. Built to hold its shape under a full duty loadout shift after shift.
How to measure: Run a tailor’s tape through your belt loops, over your pants, at the spot where you want the belt to ride. Do not use your pants size. Sizing adjusts in 2" increments.
Between sizes? Size down. The belt will not stretch, and a snug fit keeps gear from shifting.
Sized wrong? A $25 exchange is available within 30 days of delivery on unworn belts. Email operations@subsecondllc.com.
Belt systems are built to order. Plan on 4-6 weeks from your order date. This is not dropship delay. Your belt does not exist yet. It gets cut, stitched, and finished after you order it.

The Patrol V2 ships with a standard 2" black inner belt. Three alternatives fit different loop widths and comfort preferences:
- 1.5" Inner Belt — pliable, works through tighter belt loops.
- The Clinch — elastic 2" webbing, the most comfortable option for all-day wear.
- EDC Inner Belt — 1.5" scuba webbing, stiffer for everyday concealed carry.
Questions before you order
How long until my belt ships?
4-6 weeks from order date. Your belt does not exist on a shelf. It gets built after you order it. Orders without an outer belt ship in 1-2 weeks. Need it sooner? Add Expedite Build Service or contact us.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
$25 size exchange within 30 days of delivery on new, unworn, unmodified belts. 1-week turnaround once received. Email operations@subsecondllc.com with your order number and correct waist measurement.
Is this actually made in the USA?
Yes. Berry Amendment compliant. Made in America, by Americans, from US-sourced materials. Not assembled from imported parts.
Will it fit my department's uniform requirements?
The Patrol V2 is a 2" duty belt platform compatible with standard MOLLE/belt-loop holsters, mag pouches, and accessories. It works with Safariland, Tek-Lok, and MHA mounts. Multiple departments currently issue Subsecond belts. Email devon@subsecondllc.com for department bulk orders.
Patrol V2 vs Operator 3.0: which one do I need?
The Patrol V2 is built for daily patrol, competition, and general duty. The Operator 3.0 adds a D-ring Cobra buckle, HK hook, and sharpie loop for load-bearing tactical use. Both ship with a 2" inner belt. See the comparison table above.
Can I use this for competition shooting?
Yes. The Patrol V2 is popular in USPSA, IDPA, and 3-gun. The rigid platform holds holsters and mag pouches securely between stages, and the Cobra buckle makes transitions fast. Pair it with Tek-Lok or MHA mounts.
