Do you offer military, law enforcement, or first responder discounts?
We price our products as low as possible from the start because many of our customers are military service members, law enforcement officers, and first responders using their own money to replace or supplement issued gear.
Because of this, we do not offer additional discounts on individual orders placed through our website.

How does your sizing run?
Please refer to our Sizing Guide before ordering.
Measure over your pants where you intend to wear the belt. We highly recommend using a tailor's measuring tape and running it through your belt loops as if it were your belt.
Use that measurement to select the appropriate sizing range. If you fall between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
Where is my order?
All Subsecond belt systems are built to order. Our current lead time for belt systems is approximately 4–6 weeks from the date your order is placed.
For orders that do not include an outer belt system, please allow approximately 1–2 weeks.
Can I get my belt system sooner?
If you need your belt system for an upcoming deployment, training, or other time-sensitive operational requirement, contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your timeline when production allows.
How do size exchanges work? — $25
Belt systems must be new, unworn, and unmodified, and the exchange must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
Turnaround time is approximately 1 week after we receive your belt.
Contact operations@subsecondllc.com with your order number and waist measurement to initiate an exchange. Please review our Sizing Guide before submitting your request.
Once your exchange is approved, we will provide a return shipping label. Please return both the outer and inner belt.
Inner Belt Exchanges: For inner belt size exchanges, email operations@subsecondllc.com with your order number. Exchanges requested within 30 days of delivery are provided at no cost.
Can you resize a used belt? — $80
Yes. Belt systems that are 30 days or older may be eligible for resizing or alteration.
Turnaround time is approximately 1–2 weeks after we receive your belt. Depending on the requested size and condition of the belt, we may modify your existing belt or build a replacement. **Please note:** Used belt resizing is only available when **decreasing the belt size**. We are unable to increase the size of an existing belt without compromising the structural integrity of the materials.

Once your request is approved, return both the outer and inner belt using the provided shipping label.
My department, agency, or unit wants to place a bulk order. How do we get started?
We work with military units, law enforcement agencies, government organizations, and other departments on bulk and organizational purchases.
We can assist with formal quotes, purchase orders (POs), Government Purchase Card (GPC) purchases, and other agency purchasing requirements.

Is the Operator 3.0 load or air rated?
No. The Operator 3.0 is not a load-rated rappelling or fall-arrest system.
The Operator 3.0 may be used as part of a restraint system where preventing access to a fall hazard is critical. However, it does not contain the safety components required of a fall-arrest or climbing harness.
The Operator 3.0 is a belt system—not a climbing harness with leg straps.

What is the difference between the 1.5" Inner Belt and 2.0" Inner Belt?
The 1.5" Inner Belt is 1.5 inches wide and is more pliable and flexible.
The 2.0" Inner Belt is 2 inches wide and provides a more rigid platform.
What is the difference between the Clinch and EDC Inner Belt?
The Clinch is a 2" elastic inner belt designed for flexibility and comfort during extended wear. Its pliable construction also makes it easier to route through tighter belt loops. To tighten the Clinch, route the tail away from your body and adjust it to your preferred fit.
The EDC Inner Belt is a 1.5" inner belt made from scuba webbing, giving it a stiffer and thicker construction. It is designed for everyday carry and provides a more rigid platform. To tighten the EDC, route the tail inward toward your body and adjust it to your preferred fit.
What is the difference between the Patrol V2 and Operator 3.0?
The Operator 3.0 comes equipped with a black D-Ring Cobra Buckle, HK Hook, Sharpie Loop, and leather D-Ring Subsecond tag. It is available in eight color options and includes a black 2" inner belt.
