Comfortable to wear all-day long, the durable, yet flexible 2-part belt system stays in place while you’re in prone position, sitting, kneeling or running. The high-performance inner belt, delivers the best point-of-attachment for your outer belt. Place your inner belt between your pant loops to provide 100% contact with the outer belt. When the inner and outer belts are matted together, the two become a secure mounting solution that doesn’t shift while you’re on the go.
The sturdy and durable construction with ultra-thick webbing and solid nylon material, gives the belt the strength needed for small to heavy weight mission specific equipment.
SubSecond requires an accurate waist size, in order to maximize the MOLLE count and allow the most mounting options.

At 1.5 inches wide, the Match is the sleekest belt Subsecond makes. It accepts competition-style mag pouches and holster drops, threads through standard belt loops, and carries a minimalist kit without the bulk of a 2" duty platform. Same triple-stitched, Berry compliant, made-in-USA build as the Operator and Patrol. Half the profile.
Three belts. One build standard. Which one fits?
Every Match 1.5 ships with:
- 1.5" outer belt platform with double MOLLE webbing
- 1.5" inner belt (hook-and-loop)
- AustriAlpin Cobra buckle
No extra hardware, no elastic, no HK hook. The Match is a clean mounting platform by design.
Triple-stitched from Mil-Spec Nylon 6.6 primary webbing. Berry Amendment compliant from webbing to thread. The same construction used in the Operator 3.0 and Patrol V2, built into a 1.5" profile that fits through standard belt loops without sacrificing rigidity under a loaded holster and mags.
How to measure: Run a tailor’s tape through your belt loops, over your pants, where the belt will ride. Do not use your pants size. An accurate measurement maximizes MOLLE count and mounting options at your size.
Between sizes? Round down. A 33" waist orders a 32". The belt will not stretch, and a snug fit keeps your rig from shifting.

The Match 1.5 ships with a standard 1.5" inner belt. Two alternatives fit different preferences:
- The Clinch — elastic 2" webbing, the most comfortable for all-day wear. Pairs with the Match outer if you want a wider inner belt.
- EDC Inner Belt — 1.5" scuba webbing, stiffer for everyday concealed carry. The best pairing for EDC use.
Questions before you order
Will this work for USPSA, IDPA, or 3-gun?
Yes. The Match 1.5 accepts competition-style mag pouches and holster drops. The 1.5" width works with Tek-Lok, Blade-Tech, Safariland, and similar mounting systems. The Cobra buckle makes transitions between stages fast. This is the belt Subsecond designed specifically for match use.
How is this different from the 2" belts?
The Match is 1.5" wide vs 2" on the Patrol V2 and Operator 3.0. It fits through standard belt loops, sits flatter under clothing, and works better for minimalist setups (holster + mags). If you are running a full duty loadout with cuffs, radio, taser, and baton, the 2" Patrol V2 or Operator 3.0 is the better choice. See the comparison table above.
Can I use this for everyday concealed carry?
Yes. The 1.5" width threads through standard belt loops and works well under a cover garment with a concealed holster. For a stiffer EDC-focused inner belt, pair the Match outer with the EDC Inner Belt (1.5" scuba webbing).
